Indian Visa Application Guide 2025: Documents and Process

Introduction

India is the most visited destination for Bangladeshis. The visa process is online but requires careful documentation.

Step 1: Online Application

Fill out the form on the IVAC website. Select the correct mission (Dhaka, Chittagong, etc.) and visa type (Tourist, Medical).

Step 2: Pay the Fee

Pay the visa processing fee (approx. ?800) online via mobile banking or cards.

Step 3: Required Documents

• Printed application form with photo.
• Original Passport (6 months validity).
• NID / Birth Certificate copy.
• Utility Bill copy (Electricity/Gas/Water) - Must match present address.
• Bank Statement (Last 6 months) or Dollar Endorsement.
• Profession Proof (NOC for job holders, Trade License for business).

Step 4: Submission

Submit your file at the IVAC center (Jamuna Future Park for Dhaka). No appointment is needed for Tourist visas currently (subject to change).

Tips

• Ensure your photo is 2x2 inches with a white background.
• The address on the utility bill MUST match the application address exactly.
• Double-check all spellings.
